As Valentine’s Day approaches, I am proud to once again host Operation Valentine, a program dedicated to honoring and showing appreciation for our local senior citizens.
During challenging times, even a simple gesture of kindness can make a powerful difference. My team and I will deliver these messages of love and appreciation to seniors throughout our district.
We invite schools, organizations, and community members to once again participate by creating Valentine’s Day cards. Cards may be mailed or dropped off at our district offices in Merced or Fresno.
Deadline to submit is Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
The cards will be delivered to senior citizens before Valentine’s Day by me and my team.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Create a handmade Valentine or write a heartfelt note to a local senior citizen.
- Please do not include glitter, and do not submit sealed envelopes.
- Schools or organizations submitting a large number of cards may contact our office to schedule a pickup.
