AB 1913 – Creates a process to train and approve peace officers to operate certain emergency equipment during emergencies.
AB 1923 – Updates the Distressed Hospital Loan Program to better support struggling hospitals by clarifying the loan forgiveness process for past participants expanding the types of distressed hospitals that can qualify for funding and provide additional tools to the Department of Health Care Access and Information to evaluate the financial distress of future applicants to the program.
AB 2010 - The SNIP Act, removes regulatory barriers to High-Volume, High-Quality Spay and Neuter services, allowing safe and rapid spay/neuter surgeries to be performed in greater numbers and in underserved areas.
AB 2276 - The Stop Super Speeders Act, requires those convicted of the most serious speeding offenses to install active Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) devices in their vehicles for a period of time. Active ISA devices prevent a car from accelerating over the local speed limit, directly preventing the most dangerous drivers from speeding without inconveniencing the vast majority of drivers on the road.
AB 2301 – Directs the Chancellor of the California Community Colleges to establish a pilot program to allow up to 10 community college districts to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN).
AB 2377 - Helps California compete for advanced manufacturing investment and create jobs by allowing for earlier tax deduction for the depreciation of new manufacturing equipment.
AB 2481 - Allows recycled glass used for manufacturing fiberglass insulation to be eligible for existing recycling incentive payments, in order to promote glass recycling and lower the cost of the fiberglass insulation needed to build homes and bring down residential electric bills.
AB 2566 – Establishes the Huron Hawk Conservancy to support the development of ecological and recreational projects in a limited region north of the City of Huron.
AB 2581 – Requires California to develop pathways to help tenants of affordable housing move into affordable homeownership through existing homeownership programs.
AB 2639 – Directs the Merced Flood Control District to coordinate with other local government entities with flood fighting responsibilities.
AB 2706 – Reforms California’s Cannery Law to make it easier to comply with while maintaining California’s strong food safety standards.
AB 2728 – Updates California’s consolidated water and wildlife database to also include data on fish hatcheries
AB 2739 – Establishes the Water Affordability and System Stabilization Fund, a trust-based funding mechanism designed to fund direct assistance to low-income households and support targeted investments in local water infrastructure.
AB 2743 – Authorizes the Department of Food and Agriculture to establish a task force to explore ways to advertise California’s agricultural products during events held in California like the Olympics and the World Cup.
AB 2753 – Prohibits registered sex offenders from running for or holding elected office.
